The Eagles beat Cards

The Eagles got a much needed win against the Cardinals 48-20. The Eagles look efficient offensively and defensively. Their running game was on point with Brian Westbrook running for 110 yards and 2 touchdowns. On the defensive side the Eagles forced the Cardinals into 4 turnovers, 3 of which were interceptions thrown by Quarterback Kurt Warner. The Eagles held the ball for a total of 39 minutes. "they can't win if they don't have the ball," congrats to the defense and offense for working hand and hand. The highlighted player of the game was QB Donovan McNabb.

The Seahaks Were Smothered By Cowboys

The Cowboys were all over the Seahawks in a 34-9 victory. The Cowboys were firing on all cylinders and the Seahawks never had a chance not even scoring a touchdown (3 field goals). Tony Romo hand looked healthy as he threw for over 300 yards and 3 touchdowns. But the Cowboys defense really dominated the Seahawks all game. The highlighted player is someone on the defensive side of the ball, and he is outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware.

A Thanksgivng Massacre

The Titans completely destroyed the Lions 47-10. It was the Titans game from kickoff, the Lions never had a chance. The Titans running game looked unstoppable. Running backs Chris Johnson and LenDale White both ran for over 100 yards. The Titans forced the Lions into 3 turnovers(2 fumbles, 1 interception). It looked bad for the Lions from the very beginning as they fall to 0-12.

THE TITANS FALL TO THE JETS

The Jets beat the Titans in impressive fashion, 34-13. Brett Farve threw for 224 yards and 2 touchdowns, one to wide receiver Laveranus Coles and the other to running back Thomas Jones.
The Jets shutdown the Titans from kickoff. The Jets only allowed 45 yards on the ground total between Chris Johnson and LenDale White combined. But the man with the plan was running back Leon Washington.

The Redskins got a much needed win against the Seahawks

The Redskins won a very close game against the Seahawks 20-17. Jason Campbell had a good game throwing for 206 yards and one touchdown to wide receiver Antwaan Randle El. The Redskins defense came up big when they needed to with Shawn Springs getting an interception to strike a dagger in the hearts of the Seattle Seahawks. But the highlighted player of the game is Clinton Portis.

Carries: 29
Yards: 143

The Ravens demolished the Eagles

That good ole Ravens defense is back and key reason why they won 36-7. Head Coach of the Eagles Andy Reid made a surprising call benching Donovan McNabb after 2 interceptions and a fumble lost. The back Kevin Kolb didn't do much better throwing 2 interceptions himself. One of those interceptions was thrown to Safety Ed Reed and he returned it 108 yards for a touchdown which is an NFL record. Ed Reeds intercepted both Quarterbacks and thats what makes him the highlighted player of the game.

Tackles: 2
Interceptions: 2

Giants beat the Cardinals to stay atop the NFC East

The Giants win a close game over the Cardinals 37-29. The Giants were missing a key part of their offense in Brandon Jacobs who sat out because of injury. The Giants still keep up the pace with a efficient passing game. Their defense also came up big forcing 2 turnovers. Eli Manning was defiantly the highlighted players of the game.

The Cowbys vs. 49ers

The Cowboys hand the 49ers their 8th loss winning 35-22. The 49ers never got their running game going and the Cowboys defense came up with a some key stops. Tony Romo is back and looks healthy tossing 3 touchdowns on 341 yards passing and most importantly no turnovers. But oh man the highlighted player of the game is Terrell Owens.

Terrell Owens
Receptions: 7
Yards: 213
Touchdowns: 1

Cowboys CB Jones reinstated

Adam Jones joined the Cowboys today and is allowed to play on December 7 vs. the Steelers.
Commissioner Roger Goodell issued a brief statement confirming the details of Jones' return, noting that it can only happen "if he avoids any further incidents and fully complies with each and every condition that has been established for him."
I personally don't like this decision that Roger Goodell has made. Earlier in the year when Adam Jones was first reinstated both Roger Goodell and, Dallas President, Jerry Jones claim that there will be a no tolerance rule But there is a little problem: HE VIOLATED THE NO TOLERANCE RULE!!!!!! This isn't the first time this has happened as everyone knows and yet and still they keep letting him back in. I DON'T GET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Lions are 0-10

The Lions just look horrible this year with an 0-10 record. They are the only team still winless. I wounder if they will ever win. They kept this horrible streak going by losing to the panthers. The Lions were up 10-0 but the Panthers came back with an explosive running game. 2 of there running backs, Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams, combined for 250 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Lions didn't have an answer for this comeback by the Panthers so they had to take yet another loss 31-22.

Titans are 10-0

The Tennessee Titans are the only undefeated team remaining after 11 weeks of football. Recently they beat the Jaguars 24-14. Titans QB Kerry Collins has been leading this team victory after victory and this game was no different. He threw 3 touchdowns on 230 yards passing. He also has a big time receiver in Justin Gage who caught 4 passes for 147 yards and 2 touchdowns. Their running game was also nice, which consist of Chris Johnson and LenDale White. There was nothing the Jags could do but take that loss.

WHAT?????? A TIE

This game was crazy the Eagles and Bengals ended in a tie 13 all. The Beagles defense forced D.McNabb,QB, into 3 interceptions but they couldn't capitalize. McNabb did throw for 339 yards and a touchdown but had 3 critical turnovers. On the other side Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for 261 yards and a touchdown, but the player of the game was T.J. Houshmandzadeh who 12 passes and a touchdown on 149 yards. This was the first tie since 2002.

Giants killing the Ravens

The Giants dominated the Ravens 30-10. Eli Manning threw for 153 yards and a touchdown, but the running game was on point. The Ravens came into this game ranked #1 in total defense but it didn't show in this game. The Giants rush for over 200 yards collectively and it was nothing the Ravens can do about it. Then the Giants dominated on defense forcing Joe Flacco, QB, into 2 turnovers and he lead the Ravens in rushing yards.

A hurtful loss

The Redskins took a loss on Sunday to the Cowboys 14-10. Tony Romo came off injury and threw for 198 yards and a touchdown along with 2 interceptions. But the player of the game Marion Barber who ran for 114 yards and a touchdown. On the losing side Jason Campbell threw for 162 yards and a touchdown. The only other bright spot for the Skins is that newly acquired D.Hall got an interception along with Rocky McIntosh.

Giants vs. Ravens Preview

What oh what to watch for? Possibly the game of the year. The Giants(8-1) has the biggest and maybe the best running game starring Brandon Jacobs. On the other side we have the Ravens(6-3) #1 defense in the league starring middle linebacker Ray Lewis. You can bet Eli Manning will be under heavy pressure against the Ravens defense, the Giants offensive line will be tested. Rookie Joe Flacco will also be tested if he can hold his own against the great Giants defense. Which QB will step up and lead his team to victory? Which defense will force the opposing QB into the most mistakes? Who will come out on top? All of these questions will be answered Sunday afternoon @ 1pm. Don't miss it.

Skins vs Boys preview

The Biggest rivalry of them all the Washington Redskins(6-3) vs. the Dallas Cowboys(5-4). This is a huge NFC East matchup. The Redskins need this game to close the gap between themselves and the Giants who are 8-1. On the over hand the Cowboys need this game cause they're at the bottom of the division and if they lose this game their chances of making the payoffs will get slimmer.
Will the Redskins try to keep pace with the Giants or will the Cowboys keep their already slim hopes of making the playoffs alive? These will be answered Sunday night @ 8:15. Don't miss it.

Hall adds depth

Hall joins Shawn Springs, Carlos Rogers, Fred Smoot at Cornerback. The Redskins secondar is 8th against the pass and they will continue to get better with the help of Hall.

London Fletcher, Middle Linebacker and Captain of the defense, does not expect Hall’s presence will upset team chemistry. “We have a great locker room here and a bunch of guys who love playing with each other,” Fletcher said. “Everybody has their own individual personalities. So he has to fit in with what we’re doing, and we also have to embrace him and make him feel comfortable."

Everyone seems to be fine with the new acquisition, but he will be tested this Sunday against the Cowboys.

A Boost in the Secondary

The Redskins have signed free agent cornerback DeAngelo Hall on Saturday. Hall was released by The Oakland Raiders on November 5.

Hall, who is 24 years old, played his first four seasons with the Falcons, emerging as one of the top cornerbacks in the league. He went to the Pro Bowl following the 2005 and 2006 seasons.

For his career, Hall has recorded 276 tackles (243 solo), one sack and 20 interceptions.

Hall has made a name for himself in the NFL with some high profile matchups with the game’s elite wide receivers, including Cincinnati’s Chad Johnson and Dallas’s Terrell Owens. The Redskins’ next game is against Owens and the Cowboys on Nov. 16 at FedEx Field.

D. Hall picked Redskins over the Steelers and Patriots because he wanted to be closer to home in Chesapeake, Va.

A huge win for Giants

The Giants win close one 36-31 over the Eagles. The Giants had a total of 400 yards while the Eagles only had 300. McNabb had a nice game throwing for 194 yards and 3 touchdowns. Eli Manning also had a good game passing for 191 yards and 2 touchdowns, but he had help from Brandon who rushed for 2 touchdowns on 126 yards. Neither team could find a solution for the apposing teams offenses, but the Giants defense came up when needed to. They stopped Brian Westbrook on a fourth down and short to win the game.

Giants vs. Eagles Preview

A big NFC East showdown is coming. The New York Giants against the Philadelphia Eagles game will be critical in what will happen in the Division. The Giants sit at the top of the division at 7-1 while the Eagles are in 3rd place at 5-3. If the Giant win they go to 8-1 and take a 2 game lead over the Redskins, 6-3. If the Eagles win they go to 6-3 and tie with the Redskins for 2nd place. This also a critical game because neither the Redskins nor the Cowboys play this week. Can the Giants take a commanding lead in the Division or will the Eagles close the gap? These questions will be answered Sunday nite at 8:15.

The NFC East

The Giants are playing at the top of their game. They are at the top of the NFC East with a 7-1 record. But the Redskins are not fa behind with a 6-3. The Eagles are on a winning streak and closing the gap fast. On the down side of the NFC East is the Cowboys, who has so many problems that its crazy they are winning any games at all. The next big match up is between the Eagles and Giants, which should be a good game.

Steelers vs Redskins thoughts

The Redskins have the next week off to lick their wounds. They fell to 6-3 after a big loss to the Steelers on Monday Night. I believe the bye week could not come at a better time. I think Jim Zorn, Head Coach, will work with Jason Campbell closer to lower the mistakes that was made. Also I think it will be great if the Redskins can get back healthy on the defensive side of the ball. Once this happens the Redskins will be an even bigger force to be reckoned with.

Eagles vs Seahawks

The Eagles got a huge win beating the Seahawks 26-7. McNabb had a great game throwing for 349 yards and 2 touchdowns. His biggest target was Brent Celek, who caught 6 passes for 131 yards. Brian Westbrooke coming off injury had ok game rushing for 61 yards on 20 carries. The Eagles defense only gave up a total of 233 yards.

The Giants easily beat the Cowboys

The Giants demolished the Cowboys offensively and defensively winning 35-14. Eli Manning threw for 147 yards and 3 touchdowns. Brandon Jacobs had a huge game rushing for 117 yards and a touchdown Derrick Ward also chipped in with 63 rushing yards and a touchdown. The Giants defense forced 4 turnovers, three of which were interceptions, 2 by Brad Johnson and 1 by Brooks Bollinger.

A horrible game

The Redskins took a horrible loss at the hands of the Steelers 23-6. The Steelers defense completely overwhelmed the Redskins force Jason Campbell into not one but two interceptions, which were his first of the season. Their defense shutdown the run as well as the pass. Clinton also had the worst game of the season only rushing for 51 yards. The Redskins got a taste of the #1 Defense in the leguae and will need this up and coming bye to recooperate.
