SUPERBOWL!!!!!!!!


THIS GAME WAS EXCITING FROM 2ND QUARTER TO END!!!!!!!! In the 1st quarter both teams got off to slow starts but things began to pick up in the 2nd quarter. The Steelers scored 14 points in the 2nd quarter thanks to an interception return by James Harrison for 100 yards right before halftime and that made the score 17-7. The 3rd qaarter was much like the 1st quarter ,where the Steelers put up 3 points to make the score 20-7 at the end of the 3rd quarter. Then all of a sudden the Cardinals offense broke loose and they put up 16 points thanks to 2 great touchdown passes by Kurt Warner to Larry Fitzgerald. Before u kno it the Cardinals were up 23-20. On the last drive Ben Roethlisberger lead the Steelers down the field to the redzone. Then on 2nd & Goal Ben Roethlisberger threw an exellent pass to Santonio Holmes who made a spectacular catch in the back of the endzone. This gave the Steelers a 27-23 lead, which was our the final score. The MVPs of the game were QB Ben Roethlisberger and WR Santonio Holmes.

Steelers vs. Ravens


Steelers won a hard fought match against the division rival Ravens 23-14. If you like hard nose smash mouth football than this was the game for you. Both defense were not given up much; it was even a struggle to kick field goals. By halftime the score was 13-7 Steelers on top. Ben Roethlisberger managed the game very making accurate passes and not turning the ball over. On the other side the rookie QB Joe Flacco was rattled by the great Steelers defense. They forced Joe Flacco into 3 interceptions in which one of them was returned for a touchdown by Troy Polamalu. Just before the end of the game RB Willis McGahee and S Ryan Clark collided with one another. Both players were down eventually Clark got up and walked off the field but McGahee had to be carted off the field, much prayers go out to him. The highlighted player of the game was Troy Polamalu.

Cardinals vs.Eagles


The Cardinals won a thriller in the desert 32-25 over the Eagles. This game was truly a thriller to watch for all true NFL Football fans. AT the beginning the Cardinals came out firing from all cylinders lead by wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald who score 3 touchdowns. On the other side the Eagles were struggling to find an offense. At halftime the Cardinals were up big 24-6. Then all of a sudden the Eagles offense caught fire and Donovan McNabb led the charge. They put up 13 points in the 3rd Quarter while their defense didn't give up nothing. Now the score was 24-19. In the 4th Quarter the Eagles got the ball and McNabb threw a beautiful pass to Desean Jackson and he made a juggling catch for a touchdown to put them up 25-24. Then David Akers missed the extra point so the score remained 25-24. Now it was the Cardinals turn to prove that they belonged here and they proved it. Kurt Warner led the Cardinals all the way to the endzone and they went for two and got it. The score is now 32-25. The Eagles had one last chance to tie the game but the Cardinals defense came up big when they had to and stopped the Eagles on 4th down. The highlighted player of the game was Larry Fitzgerald.

Steelers vs. Chargers


The Steelers advance to the AFC Championship with a 35-24 win over the Chargers. The Steelers defense came to play and completely shutdown Darren Sproles and the Chargers running game to just 15 yards rushing. The Steelers defense shutdown the passing game for the most part. QB Ben Roethlisberger stayed consist by delivering the ball with accuracy and not turning the ball over. QB Philip Rivers threw for 308 yards and 3 touchdowns and 1 interception in a losing effort. Willie Parker and the the Steelers running game was unstoppable and the Chargers could do nothing about it. The highlighted player of this game was running back Willie Parker.

Eagles vs. Giants


Eagles win a big game in New York 23-11. It was a back and forth game until the Eagles scored a touchdown. After the touchdown the Eagles never looked back. The Giants simply couldn't stop the Eagles on 3rd down. The Eagles defense made to critical stops on 4th down to stop the Giants cold. The Eagles also forced 2 interceptions and the last one sealed the deal for the Eagles. Now the Eagles are off to Arizona to play the red hot Cardinals in the NFC title game. QB Donovan McNabb is the highlighted player of the game.

Cardinals vs. Panthers

WOW!!!!!!!!!!! The Cardinals rolled all over the Panthers 33-13. At the beginning of the game the Panthers had all of the momentum scoring within their first 5 plays on offense, but afterward everything started to break down for the Panthers. Then all of a sudden everything started going right for the Cardinals. Kurt Warner was hitting his main target Larry Fitzgerald at day and there was nothing the Panthers defense could do about it. The Cardinals defense came to play and prove to everybody that they can shutdown the Panthers strong running game. After they stopped the run they made the Panther one dimensional and forced QB Jake Delhomme to pass the ball. The Cardinals had a field day with Jake Delhomme dropping back to pass; they forced Delhomme into 5 interceptions and a fumble. Steve Smith the outstanding wide receiver was not a factor in this game thanks to the Cardinals defense. The higlighted player of the game was wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald.

Ravens vs. Titans


The Ravens won a hard fought grudge match against the titans 13-10. If u were to see the the first half stats of this game you would have never thought that the score was 7-7 at halftime. Well that was the score and the Ravens stayed in the game and forced some key turnovers. Right before halftime the Ravens made LenDale White fumble in the end zone. once again the Titans had another chance to score but this time Alge Crumpler fumbled and the Ravens recovered the ball on the 1 yard line. These key lead to the Titans. Joe Flacco stayed cool under pressure and made plays when he needed to. The highlighted player of the game was QB Joe Flacco.
